MyWealthspan was founded by two advisors, and with the assistance of two of the most prominent aging science professors. The group recognized that the 21st century has brought forth new knowledge about human aging and longevity that will help advisors do their work more efficiently and to the greater benefit of their clients.

Jeff Stuckey

Jeff Stukey

Over 18 years’ experience helping advisors become better at what they do so they can assist more clients and grow their practices. Served in many senior roles, including President of an SEC registered investment advisory firm.

The idea behind MyWealthspan was spawned from one of the most famous bets in science -- which is whether anyone alive in the year 2000 will be alive in the year 2150. These are the two scientists involved in the bet.

Jay Olshansky

S. Jay Olshansky, Ph.D.

Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Chicago in 1984. He is currently a Professor in the School of Public Health at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Research Associate at the Center on Aging at the University of Chicago and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Co-founder and Chief Scientist at Lapetus Solutions, Inc.

Steven Austad

Steven Austad, Ph.D.

Distinguished professor & department chair of Biology, University of Alabama, Birmingham. Author of more than 190 scientific articles. Steve’s book "Why We Age: What Science Is Discovering about the Body’s Journey” has been translated into 9 languages.
